About

The Jazz Band is made up of members keen to get together to play all sorts of jazz music. This especially helps improves musicans' improvisation skills, while having a bit of fun.

Mr Cossar leads the Jazz Band which rehearses every Wednesday lunchtime in Music Room 9.

How to Join

The Jazz Band is always open to new members. If you can play one of the following instruments then the Jazz Band is for you:

Flute

Clarinet

Oboe

Trumpet

Saxophone

Double Bass

Electric/Bass Guitar

Piano

If your instrument of choice is not in the list above, you are still welcome to talk to Mr Cossar and something can be arranged.

You do not need to be a pro to join. As long as you can read basic music then you should be fine.

You will also need to attend regular rehearsals on Wednesday lunchtimes in Music Room 9, as well as any additional rehearsals that are called for, and be willing to perform.
