Three benches are placed outside C block
in front of the Information Commons, ready for painting on Friday.
RELOCATION OF THE ROSES
Roses were tagged on the 18th
May in preparation for relocation to another area near the technology block.
Relocation will commence some time during the next school holidays. We are
looking for strong students to help with the uplifting of the roses.
NEW AREA FOR PLANTING
The area in front of Mr. Coughlan’s
office has been rotary-hoed in preparation for plants which will occupy the area
upon planting.
ADVERTISEMENTS
A skit to promote awareness
of litter around the school is in planning stages. Drama students to will
present it in assembly before the end of term.
Posters
are also being designed to discourage littering. New members are welcome to help.
LITTER METER
The litter meter is an indicator of how tidy the school grounds are. It is located on the noticeboard and will soon be online.
There are four indications on the Litter Meter - Not achieved, OK, good, tidy. If students are able to keep the Litter Meter at good or tidy, they will be rewarded. An announcement on what the reward is will be made soon!
GREEN SLIP
Similar to the blue slips, students who are seen to be tidying up the grounds, such as picking up rubbish on the ground, or cleaning something, etc. will be rewarded with a green slip.
