Submit Your Work
The newspaper team are always on the lookout for content concerning Rutherford students that are written by students themselves.
Student work may be about:
- An interesting event that has happened at school
- Sports games or competitions
- A student achievement e.g. a placing in a regional bowling championship
- Issues relating to school e.g. uniform, litter, etc
- Student work e.g. artwork, poetry, stories
- Photos of students/events around school
- Video of a student performance, event, anything that has happened at school
If you want your work published in the student newspaper, you can hand in a copy of your work to Mrs Betanzo in Room 12. Articles may be submitted in either hard copy or electronic format (floppy disk/CD-ROM), however electronic format is preferable.
Whether your work gets published may come down to a number of factors, including space available, and ultimately the editor’s decision. The editor has the right to edit your work as she sees fit.
